Oladapo is the Firm’s lead partner. He heads the Dispute Resolution and Policy Advisory Groups. His core areas of competence and interest include Banking and Finance, Shareholder Disputes, Consumer Protection, Regulation, Domestic and International Trade, Financial Crime, Constitutional Law, Commercial Litigation, Criminal Litigation, Corporate Finance, Alternative Dispute Resolution and Enforcement of Maritime Claims.

Oladapo holds a Bachelor of Law (LLB) degree from the University of Lagos, as well as a Masters degree (LLM) in Corporate and Commercial Law from the Centre for Commercial Law Studies (CCLS) Queen Mary University of London. He also holds a PhD in Law from the International Financial Law Unit of the CCLS, Queen Mary University of London.

He is the editor- in- chief of the Banking and Financial Law Reports (BFLR). He is also the chairman of the Advisory Board of the Constitutional Rights Awareness and Liberty Initiative (CRALI). He was the editor-in-chief of the Lagos Bar Journal (2019 to 2021). He is a member of the editorial committees of the Nigerian Bar Journal, the International Comparative Journal of Peace and Environment, the Journal of Contemporary, Commercial and Industrial Law, as well as other legal and developmental publications. He was a member/alternate chairman of the Legal Practitioners Disciplinary Panel of the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA) (2021 to 2016). He was a lecturer at the Department of Commercial and Industrial Law at the Faculty of Law, University of Lagos.

Oladapo was elevated to the rank of Senior Advocate of Nigeria (SAN) in 2015. Until September 2019, he held the record of the youngest person ever to be elevated to the rank. In the course of his practice, he has been invited twice by the court of appeal as amicus curiae, to give expert opinion on complex issues of commercial law [See Independent Television/Radio v Edo State Board of Internal Revenue(2015) 12 NWLR (Pt. 1474) 442; and Nigerian Breweries PLC v. Dumuje (2016) 8 NWLR (Part 1515) 536]. He has acted as counsel in many landmark commercial, constitutional and criminal cases across the rungs of the Nigerian court hierarchy. He has acted as counsel, arbitrator and expert witness in several arbitration proceedings. He has also acted as expert witness on Nigerian law in proceedings before the High Court of Justice in England. Oladapo’s experience covers his time at the leading Firms of Femi Atoyebi & Co and Wole Olanipekun & Co, where he was a partner.

Oladapo was the chairman of the Banking and Finance Committee of the Nigerian Institute of Chartered Arbitrators, where he is also a fellow and member of the governing council. He was the chairman of the Research and Editorial Committee of the Section on Business Law of the NBA. He is a member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (UK). He is a fellow of the Charteted Institute of Management Consultants and a certified management consultant. He is a member of the NBA, International Bar Association and the British Institute of International and Comparative Law.
