Ihuoma is a partner with the Firm. She is a member of the Firm’s Dispute Resolution and Policy Advisory Groups. Her areas of professional competence and research interests include Commercial Dispute Resolution, Consumer Protection, Banking and Finance, Fintech Law, Emerging Markets and General Litigation.
Ihuoma holds a Bachelor of Laws degree (LLB) from Abia State University, as well as a Masters degree (LLM) in International Commercial Law from the University of Aberdeen. She also holds a PhD in Law from Abia State University.
Prior to joining E & M, Ihuoma had practised with Dominion Chambers, a Lagos-based Firm. She is also teaches at the Department of Commercial and Industrial Law, University of Lagos. She has undertaken significant research and published widely in the fields of Fintech Law, Commercial Law and Consumer Protection.
Ihuoma is admitted to practise law in Nigeria as a solicitor and advocate of the Supreme Court. She is a member of the Nigerian Bar Association, Nigerian Association of Law Teachers and the Nigerian Bar Association Women's Forum.
