Bolarinwa holds a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Linguistics from Ekiti State University and a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) from the University of Benin.
He is admitted to practice as a solicitor and advocate of the Supreme Court of Nigeria.
He is a member of the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA).
